Setting Up A Rotation Of Girls
This chapter should be required reading for every college male, because it applies to everyone. Quite simply, the main key to having success with girls in college lies in adopting an abundance mentality. Obviously this holds true for the guys who simply want to have fun and get laid as much as possible, but it also holds true for the guys who are seeking an exclusive relationship. In the first case you should be talking to and dating as many women as you have the time/desire to (otherwise known as spinning plates), and in the second case you should still do that until you enter a relationship with the right girl! Spinning plates has numerous benefits, which range from preventing the needy and clingy behavior that results from focusing on just one girl to helping you filter out many women to find the one that is the perfect fit for a relationship.
Either way, it's in your best interest to develop a solid rotation of girls. The story that I'm about to tell you is an important precursor to this article because hopefully it will illustrate just how important it is to spin plates and have multiple women available to you. During my Freshman year of college, I won't lie, things were going pretty well. I had three or four girls that I could hit up anytime for sex or dates, and I could have had more if I had the time for them. It was around November when I met a girl named Holly, and that's when everything changed. She was perfect, or at least I thought she was. Everything was great for a couple of weeks, and I thought that I wanted a relationship with her. Because I was too stubborn to listen to anybody's advice, I pretty much dropped everything for this girl. I cut off contact with the other girls I had been seeing and I didn't pursue any opportunities to meet new girls either. In fact, I passed up chances with wonderful girls because I was sure that things would work out with Holly.
Take a wild guess at what happened next: things didn't work out with Holly. As it turns out, she didn't want to be in a relationship. To be honest, she didn't want a relationship because I started acting needy and giving her way too much attention (as a result of cutting all the other girls out of my life and focusing only on her). So, where did that leave me? I prematurely put her on a pedestal that she didn't deserve and basically slammed the door on all of my other options for a girl that had done nothing to prove to me that she was relationship material. Go ahead, get your laughs in. I certainly deserve them, because what I did was stupid.
For awhile after that, things weren't so great anymore. I finally came to my senses and realized that Holly (just like every other girl) isn't some perfect goddess, but it was too late to recover the girls I had dumped for her. Sadly, a lot of the girls I neglected were much better girls that Holly and it took me a couple of months to get out of the hole I dug myself in. As a disclaimer, I'm not telling my story to discourage you guys who are looking for a relationship, but to show you how important it is to keep other options open until you actually enter a relationship. If you don't, you put yourself at serious risk of pedestalling a girl to death and losing the very qualities that made you such a good catch in the first place.
Now that you see the importance of setting up a rotation of girls, how do you do it?!
The first thing you have to do is be sure that you go about it the right way. The popular perception of the "player" is of this guy who gets tons of girls, but who lies to them and tricks them into sleeping with him. However, I never lie about my intentions with girls, and neither should you. Quite simply, there's no reason to. I've found that a good majority of college girls don't care if you're exclusive with them or not as long as you make yourself clear up front about what you're looking for (even more so, if they don't ask, they don't care!). If you go around lying to girls and telling them that they're the only ones in your life while you're spinning five other plates, word will get around campus and you'll get nailed for it. Girls are vengeful and creative, and karma's a bitch, so keep that in mind.
With that being said, it's best to have some variety in your rotation of girls. This definitely has its benefits for you: it allows you to get a foot in many social circles and it minimizes problems with girls who know each other pretty well. For example, being involved with two girls from the same tight-knit sorority might not be the best idea. That's why university leaders a long time ago made more than one sorority, so you can nail multiple girls as easily as possible. Also, Facebook is your friend! Social networking sites such as this can be very helpful in seeing which girls know each other and who they're close with. I always check a girl's page to make sure that she's not best friends with any of my other plates before going very far with them, because that can cause unnecessary drama, even if you are upfront with your intentions.
However, some girls take the whole idea of "no strings attached" sex very literally, and they will have no problems with you dating or screwing around with their friends as well as them. There are exceptions to every rule, and if this situation happens to fall into your lap, don't come to me asking questions about why this girl is willing to mess around with you when she knows you're having sex with her best friend. Just bang them and count your lucky stars, you may even be able to get a threesome out of it. Still, it's best to spread your rotation of girls around as many social circles as you can, and this is for your own sake more than anything. The more social circles that you can make friends and connections in, the more fun you're going to have! This just adds to your social proof around campus even more and makes you that much more sought after by girls who see what a fun-loving guy you are.
Also, aside from the benefits that come from being involved in multiple social circles, I try to get each girl in my rotation to be different from the others because it's just plain boring to date four girls who are exactly the same! When you first start building your rotation of girls, try to meet them in different locations around campus to ensure this variety. Obviously, you wouldn't go looking for a Jay-Z CD in the classical music section, and the same holds true for women- you aren't going to meet a party girl in the library. Finding different types of girls for your rotation is pretty self-explanatory: if you're looking for an athletic girl that enjoys being active, go to your school's gym. If you're looking for a smart, down-to-earth girl, go to Starbucks or the library. If you're looking for party girls, hit up different parties around campus. If there is a certain type of girl you prefer, then you should definitely hit up the locations where those girls congregate more often than you visit other places. As I said above though, try to minimize mixing in this too. If you're only into party girls then that's fine, but make sure you hit up a wide range of parties to spread your rotation of girls out as much as possible.
As a side note, always be on the lookout for clingy girls and get rid of them as soon as you can! These girls appear to be normal at first but soon show their true colors when they start getting possessive of you and blowing up your phone when you don't respond to their texts or call them back immediately. Then, they start badgering you with questions about where you were and why you weren't giving your attention to them. It only gets worse after this, and before too long, you'll have a real nuisance on your hands. These girls are insecure and desperate for a man, and they tend to latch onto a guy very tightly as soon as one comes around. Unless you honestly feel a strong connection with a girl like this and see them as a prospect for a future relationship, you should let them down easy early, because they aren't the kind of girl that you need to have in your rotation. They only get more possessive with time, and they will soon become a drain on you, physically and mentally. Your job is to find quality girls that you enjoy being around and these clingy girls will do everything they can to control you and make sure that doesn't happen.
College is indeed a great time in a person's life, and for guys, it should also be a great time of success with women. By following the advice set forth, you should never again find yourself frustrated if things don't work out with one particular girl, but you'll brush it off like you should, because you have plenty more waiting in the wings. You'll also never have to wonder if you've picked the right girl to enter a relationship with, because you'll have filtered out all the girls who aren't worthy of your attention. If you work toward implementing the principles covered in this section into your game, it will ensure that you have all your dating bases covered, and that you maximize your potential for success with women in college.-
