Would this be a fair and smart video card trade to my friend?
i just bought new pc that comes with 9800 gtx and has sli capability. my friend has a 8800 gt in his pc and an extra 8800 gt he doesnt use cause case doesnt have sli. If i trade my 9800 gtx for his 2 8800 gts to give us both instant better performance and i would save money from having to buy another 9800 gtx. this sound like fair deal?
The GTX is better than GT but realistically I honestly dont believe you'll see any difference, atleast not enought to justify taking up more room, possibly needing to upgrade your PSU to run 2 cards(don't forget that!), and I thought there'd be some "Dramatic" visual & speed difference with two cards myself, NOT! When you have a very good processor, Top video card and awsome RAM as I do, your're in for some serious dissappointment, especially after shelling out several hunded dollars more!!! Talk about pissed!!!!!
